Our Taiwan patient of hyperlipemia, had TCM treatment since Oct.2018, then on Jan.2019, the results showed the Cholesterol from 234mg/dl lower to 188mg/dl, the LDL-C from137 lower to 115mg/dl. During treatment there was no any side effects as medication. Here let’s know about hyperlipemia. Allergic conjunctivitis, so called allergic eyes, could have symptoms like red , itchy, tearing eyes and sticky eye discharge. It happens when the body immune systems gets weaken, the pathogen attacks easily to cause any symptoms which related to the weakest part of body. Overusing cell phone , especially late night when the eyes are tired but we ignore it and stay up late, in TCM it’s an easily overlooked way of hurting our liver.  For female this living habit also affects their menstruation, following by TCM theory, “liver stored blood”, “eyes are the windows of liver”. Therefore, the blood goes back to liver at night storage time, 1am~3am, during this period our body needs good quality of sleep. Patient was diagnosed stroke in 2017, with weak left side body movement. When Nov. 2018 visited our clinic, still hard to walk and couldn’t talk clearly, the reaction to questions was also slow. However, most bothered her was losing control of defecation and urination. After acupuncture sessions & TCM herb medicine from Nov.2018 to Feb.2019,  now nay can do gardening, talk clearly, and no more lose control as she went toilet. Patient with sever shoulder pain and numbness, diagnosed as frozen shoulder, benefited from acupuncture treatment. After first acupuncture session, his daughter sent us the feedback, as she witness  the improvement. In the Philippines, the traffic could be the reason causing all kinds of muscle pain, this is one of our cases after long term fixed position and chronic fatigue, had occupational injury in the end.  Luckily, before it got worsen to organic injury, the earlier got therapy, the easier to recover.

This case of derma symptoms caused because the patient ate seafood. The skin allergies showed on his neck and thigh, with reddish, itchiness and partial heat. After acupuncture and TCM herb therapy for 3 weeks, the degree of the discomforts reduced, the previous erythema had decrustated and recovered in a better skin condition. In acupuncture we called the method as “ reinforcing and reducing method”, likewise, in herb therapy we called “tonification and purgation in combination”, both are manipulated under the standard diagnosis of TCM doctors.

During Christmas season, people are usually busy and have irregular sleeping time and meals, which cause the immune system too weak to defend any virus from flues or allergen from their pets. This derma case happened on Dec.18, the itchiness increased, the area of the herpes expanded while eating wrong diet. However, after intensive herb decoction and acupuncture treatment, on Dec.22 the itchiness and herpes eliminated, this patient enjoyed a sick-free Christmas. On the following days until Dec.27 we saw total recovery without any symptoms. “All I want for Christmas is health”, the patient sang with joy.

Acupuncture and TCM Herbal medicine for prurigo/ itchy skin. Which is related to sinus or constipation ? Some patients come treatment with nasitis, allergic rhinitis, sinus symptoms, or constipation, along with skin itchy, and rashes.   However, those derma symptoms are the reflections of the lung and large intestine condition. According to theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, “ The lung governs skin and hair”, ” Lung and Large intestine have Relevance” ,this patient had cough and phlegm as main complaints, with constipation , and the rashes on both elbows, where the meridian according to acupuncture theory related to the lung and large intestine as well.   In conclusion, we did acupuncture and made TCM herbal prescription through the principle of “ expelling pathogens from both interior and exterior”. Patient who suffered from years of herpes on her finger, which causing itchiness and skin off, after treatment for one week, presents the well recovery.  For herpes on finger, it's an on and off derma disease, easy occurs when touch chemical contained detergent cleanser or under humid environment. For modern therapy is using hormone related medication , it's fast to reduce the itchiness but also easily reoccur if stop the medicine. The worse situation of herpes is when patient couldn't stand the severely itchiness and over scratch could cause infection if making a wound. For TCM treatment, we change the inner environment of the patient, so the herpes will not have any reason to stay. Without drug dependency, combining correct therapy ( correct diagnose & treatment plan) and help adjust patients' incorrect habit is the best for recovery.
